WESTINGHOUSE LAUNCHES NEW MICRO-CHANNEL AIR CONDITIONER
Low on price, high on performance.
St. Louis, September 8, 2010 — Westinghouse heating and cooling offers a new solution for new construction jobs. The entry-level J-Series Westinghouse air conditioners are big on quality, but small on cost, to help contractors compete on extremely price-sensitive jobs.
Available only in 13 SEER efficiency, the new Westinghouse Builder’s Series JS6BD air conditioner features a Samsung rotary compressor in the 2 – 3 ton models, and a Danfoss scroll compressor in the 3.5 – 5 ton models. The unit also features environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant, all-aluminum Micro-Channel condenser coils, full metal jackets and composite base pans.
The JS6BD Builder Series air conditioner will carry a 5-year parts and 5-year compressor warranty; no product registration required. For more details on this low-budget model, dealers should contact their Westinghouse distributor.
